As an Embedded System Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our elevator controller software. Designing and executing functional and integration tests for embedded systems.
Building and enhancing test infrastructure, including custom tools and synthetic environments.
Developing and performing functional and integration tests for Schindler elevator controls using state-of-the-art tools.
Commissioning, maintaining, and improving test infrastructure, including test benches, synthetic test environments and custom test tools.
Investigating field issues and test failures to drive rapid resolution.
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on team player with a passion for quality and innovation. You’ll thrive in an agile environment and be eager to explore new technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
~5+ years of experience in embedded system testing, ideally with automated tools.
~ Proficient with Python; basic Linux and bash scripting knowledge a plus, C++ familiarity is a plus.
~ Experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of hardware and software test benches, including reading/updating electrical schematics and troubleshooting .
~ Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
