Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance & Food Safety Specialist to temporarily replace a maternity leave in our QA&FS department. Estimated period of 6 months. Key Responsibilities: Support the FSQR Manager in the implementation and execution of the company’s quality policy. Maintain and update the Quality and Food Safety Manual. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and revise procedures and work instructions related to individual processes, ensuring compliance with certification requirements Conduct internal audits and hygiene inspections to verify food safety and operational standards. Collaborate with Purchasing Department on supplier qualification processes and annual evaluations. Perform risk assessments on raw materials in collaboration with the R&D department. Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality questionnaires and third-party audits. Manage customer complaints, non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions Audit suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance with quality and food safety standards. Prepare and update product data sheets and labels in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain and update the database system (GPMS) for traceability and documentation tracking. Work closely with R&D to verify the legal compliance of sampled products. Requirements: Italian & English (written and spoken). Strong attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry. Knowledge of quality management systems and food safety standards Familiar with supplier auditing and documentation systems is a plus.
