Purpose of the position: As Junior Planning Engineer you will be part of the Business Line Energy Carriers (ENCAR) within the Cost Optimization and Claim Support function. You will support the team of Claim Support, recently instituted to monitor and support the business line with a specific focus on planning activities, including the preparation of EOT claims and delay analysis.
How can you support us?
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to support forensic analysis and claims preparation.
* Develop Excel-based template/tools to support planning and reporting activities, including:
o S-Curves for progress visualization
o Road Maps to summarize schedules
o Progress report calculation sheets
* Compare forecasts to actuals by identifying the causes of the main deviations to be reported to the Management.
* Analyse project records, progress data, and change events to identify critical delays and their root causes
* Collaborate with cost control and contract management teams to ensure alignment between schedule impacts and cost/claim narratives
What are we looking for?
Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: management engineering, accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or similar
Technical Knowledge:
* Knowledge of principles of project planning, scheduling, and delay analysis techniques
* Familiar with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
* Advanced use of excel, word and power point
* Knowledge of power query/power BI is recommended
* Basic knowledge of delay analysis methodologies (e.g., Time Impact Analysis, As-Planned vs. As-Built). Not mandatory but appreciated.
