As an Analog IC Design Senior Staff Engineer at Marvell, you’ll contribute to high‑performance analog and DSP‑based transceivers targeting multi‑GHz operation on advanced CMOS nodes. You’ll join the Central Engineering team in Pavia, shaping IP used across Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. Expect hands‑on transistor‑level design, layout supervision, and cross‑team collaboration impacting product performance and roadmap. This role offers deep specialization with room to grow and mentor others in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
* Analyze block specifications and select suitable topologies
* Design analog blocks at the transistor level
* Supervise layout activities, provide guidelines and conduct post‑layout verifications
* Model blocks and validate models
* Collaborate with other teams to enhance existing solutions
* Train and mentor junior designers
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics) with 6+ years of experience or PhD in Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics) with 3+ years of experience
* Experience designing ICs from architecture definition to lab characterization with full block ownership
* Strong proficiency in analog design in the multi‑GHz range
* Extensive experience in performing or supervising analog custom layout
* Familiarity with EDA CAD tools
* Ability xjrgpwk to measure IC performance and debug designs to correlate with simulations
* Direct project experience in SerDes or electro‑optical transceivers and advanced CMOS nodes (FinFET) is a plus
* Strong communication, presentation and documentation skills
* Proficiency in Italian and English (B2+)
