**Avincis** is a global leader in the emergency aviation industry and it provides services in the field of HEMS, Firefighting, off-shore and MRO. For the Firefighting area, Avincis manages the Italian Canadair fleet composed of 18 planes, owned by the Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco, and it counts on 3 operative bases. The Rotary Wing division instead has a fleet of more than 40 helicopters and 36 operative bases, mainly operating in Italian regions but also covering international operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage maintenance plans for the helicopter fleet in accordance with EASA regulations.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for helicopters, ensuring mínimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Monitor aircraft status and ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks, including tracking flight hours and cycles.
- Liaise with maintenance providers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, airworthiness documentation, and technical logs for helicopters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant EASA regulations and company policies, particularly those related to helicopter operations.
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory authorities, internal audits, and management reviews.
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the CAMO department, focusing on helicopter maintenance efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Technical department to address any technical issues and ensure the highest standards of safety and airworthiness.
- Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and tools specific to helicopter maintenance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams during inspections and repairs.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in CAMO planning and airworthiness management, with a focus on helicopter operations.
- In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations and requirements, particularly those related to helicopters.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CAMO software and tools, with experience in helicopter-specific systems.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of the Italian (C1) and English (B2) language, spoken and written.
- High school degree preferably in technical areas (i.e. Perito Tecnico
**Preferred Skills & Qualifications**:
- Experience with specific helicopter types in the company fleet**:AW109, AW169, AW139, BK117 C2-D2-D3.**:
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems and databases, particularly RAMCO/GANNET is a plus.
