Main Purpose
The F&B PR Manager is in charge of defining an image of excellence to promote the prestige of our F&B outlets in the heart of Milan on the local territory.
Reports to: Hotel Manager.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Locally promotes the F&B outlets and programs, promotions and new events.
* Ensures a smooth information flow to brand communications who then helps to push on behalf of the F&B outlets key stories to the local stakeholders.
* Update F&B department heads and Team Members about all concerning news.
* Supports the development of F&B outlets marketing.
* Work closely with the F&B Manager and the other F&B HODs to promote the outlets.
* Consistently demonstrates sound technical knowledge of Rocco Forte Hotels PR systems and practices.
* Is aware of changes in legislation affecting PR activities and takes appropriate action to ensure that the hotels are compliant with the law.
* Work closely the PR Manager in promoting Rocco Forte Hotels as a Company.
* Proactively looks for opportunities and trends in the market that will assist F&B outlets in tough or downturn situations, by providing strategies to improve performance.
* Regularly monitors competitive set PR and Marketing initiatives, which gains relevant exposure in the market.
* Networks effectively to build key relationships within the industry and the PR profession, in order to gain new insights and forge key local partnerships for the Company.
* Builds the reputation of the Hotel F&B outlets through events, new initiatives and collaborations.

Other Requirements
* Innovative, creative and driven individual with an excellent understanding of the luxury F&B market;
* A minimum 2 years’ experience in an upscale or luxury field, managing a communications strategy;
* Experience within a communications role and ideally proven management and development skills;
* Demonstration of successful strategic partnerships, positioning and promotional campaigns;
* Fluent in both local language and English, both oral and written;
* Strong media, influencer and luxury industry contacts;
* Excellent knowledge of local area;
* Well-developed writing skills to include press releases, press kits, etc.
