The Client is a multinational leader in automotive components made of plastic and rubber, located in Turin region, manages product and process development for low- and high-pressure fluids systems for the automotive industry. Main business is R&D activity based on all customer specifications and requests as for Stellantis, RSA Group, Mercedes, BMW, VW group, Tesla, Chinese & Japan OEMs, etc.). Innovation on new products is the main target of the plant, especially on new segment for new car and new technologies coming on the market in last years, focused on electrification and sustainability.

The candidate will be involved in the development and optimization of plastic welding technology applied to new products. The main goal will be to ensure that products meet technical, quality, and cost requirements while collaborating with various company departments to ensure efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
-Analysis and verification of the technical feasibility of projects, ensuring they can be produced within required specifications and timelines.
- Design of the products considering welding technology to apply
- Development of technical solutions to optimize product performance and quality considering the process used.
- Design of tooling and support to industrialization for new welded product to meet technical specifications requested by customer
- Support during the industrialization phase and life of projects and monitoring of performance in all plants.
- Collaboration with production, quality, laboratory and supplier teams to ensure the efficiency and quality of the final product.
- Troubleshooting and identifying solutions to improve processes and products
Ability to analyze and solve technical issues.
Strong teamwork, communication, and project management skills.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Knowledge of main plastic welding technologies: laser, spin, vibration etc
* Knowledge of mechanical design and proficiency with CAD 3D software (Solidwork is preferred).
* Fluent in English
* Fluent in Italian
* Knowledge of international GD&T system ( e.g. ISO, ASME)
* Ability to analyze and solve technical issues.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and project management skills.
