Position Overview The Satellite Constellation Program Manager is responsible for leading satellite launch preparations and coordinating operations at launch sites worldwide. The role oversees all pre-launch activities, including spacecraft integration with the launch vehicle, testing, final checkouts, and coordination with launch providers and international partners to ensure mission success, safety compliance, and on-schedule delivery of constellation assets. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage satellite launch preparation campaigns for constellation missions. - Coordinate and oversee integration of spacecraft with the launch vehicle and associated ground support systems. - Supervise pre-launch activities, including functional tests, environmental checkouts, and final validation. - Serve as the primary interface with launch providers, spaceports, and international engineering teams. - Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, mission requirements, and customer specifications. - Plan and manage resources, schedules, and logistics for launch campaigns across multiple sites.: - Lead technical readiness reviews, launch rehearsals, and mission readiness assessments. - Support risk assessment, contingency planning, and anomaly resolution before and during launch operations. - Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and post-launch assessments. - Represent the company at international launch sites and mission control centers as required. - Establish and enforce program management best practices across projects. Requirements: - Proven experience coordinating launch base operations or spacecraft launch campaigns. - Strong knowledge of spacecraft integration, pre-launch testing, and ground operations. - Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline. - Familiarity with launch vehicle interfaces, ground support equipment (GSE), and safety protocols. - Strong organizational, leadership, and team-management skills. - Ability to manage multiple parallel missions and work in fast-paced environments. - Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills. - Availability for international travel on short notice and extended on-site campaigns. - Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Nice to Have - Experience with LEO constellation launches or rideshare missions. - Familiarity with ECSS standards, ESA/NASA launch procedures, and spaceport operations (e.g. Kourou, Cape Canaveral, Baikonur, Vostochny). - Background in systems engineering, AIT, or mission operations. - Knowledge of project management tools and scheduling software.
