Join to apply for the Driver / Data Collector in Crescentino, Italy role at TSMG Holding Overview The data collection project is conducted by Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges. The project objective is to collect images of streets, main points of interest and public areas in EU countries. Cars with 360 removable cameras mounted on top of the vehicle capture the surrounding area. Cameras image the area around the vehicle and store those images on computers inside the vehicle. Later, this data will be used to enhance one of the world’s most popular online maps. The data collectors will be given specific routes around public streets and areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions some areas will be visited multiple times in order to collect the best quality of imaging. The project is expected to last from 3 to 6 months and will cover different data collection areas. The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows well the area and traffic trends, is highly responsible and reliable. The schedule expected on the project is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day 40 hours per week. Due to weather downtime, work on weekends is possible. Responsibilities Follow specific routes around public streets and areas, targeting commercial districts and historical sites. Visit some areas multiple times due to weather conditions to collect the best quality imaging. Install the cameras on the roof of a vehicle (6 kg in weight and 1 metre in height). Drive within standard business hours and maintain a high level of responsibility and reliability.
