Internship in Virtual and Physical Validation of Suspension & Wheel Assembly System for High-Performance Car
Are you enrolled/fresh graduated in a Master's degree in Mechanical/Vehicle/Mechatronics Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields?
Do you speak fluent English and possibly Italian and/or German?
Do you have good organizational and communication skills?

We are looking for brilliant candidates with a strong passion for the Automotive sector and the right motivation to take on a 6-month Internship in a dynamic and international context based in our Research & Development Department at our Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters.
The project will focus on supporting the staff at Lamborghini involved in:
* Bolt and connection of suspension parts analysis – focus on wheel assembly
* Development advanced numerical methods to simulate preload, load distribution and loosening phenomena
* Analyzed self-loosening mechanisms and their correlation with dynamic load and boundary conditions (Wheel rim, wheel hub, thread profile and so on)
* Conducted tribological analysis of thread-lubrificant interaction
* Correlate numerical data with tests in vehicle and/or on a test bench
* Defining an internal engineering standard and norms for physical and virtual testing of wheel assembly systems/rotating parts
* Apply on wheel bolts and monolock assembly
In order to meet these targets, you will need:
* Fluent English, Italian and German will be a plus
* Enrolled/Fresh graduated in a Master's degree in Mechanical/Vehicle/Mechatronics Engineering, Mathematics or related fields
* Analytical Skills
* Target oriented
* Software: Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Matlab/Simulink, Adams Car, FEM (MSC, Altair, ANSYS products)
