To strengthen the internal structure, we are seeking candidates for VCUBE S.r.l., a SYS-DAT Group company based in Reggio Emilia: EXPERT VMWARE SYSTEMS ENGINEER We are looking for a VMware Expert Systems Engineer to work at our operational headquarters in Reggio Emilia and at our client sites in Emilia, between Parma and Bologna. Requirements Several years of experience in Microsoft or Linux environments, preferably in an enterprise setting Extensive experience managing virtualization infrastructure based on VMware vSphere 5.x / 6.x Skills in installing and upgrading vSphere / vCenter virtualization platforms Creation and configuration of virtual machines hosting Windows or Linux servers Knowledge of networking (switches, routers, load balancers) and protocols (TCP, NFS, CIFS, etc.) Knowledge of security measures (firewall, VPN, etc.) Storage knowledge Understanding of network services such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory Ability to analyze system performance and optimize settings Additional Knowledge Familiarity with other VMware products such as vRealize Operations, vSphere Replication, Site Recovery Manager, Orchestrator, vRealize Automation, LogInsight, NSX, Horizon View, AirWatch Experience in managing and configuring blade servers from Cisco, HP, IBM/Lenovo Knowledge in related areas such as backup, databases, and applications Personal Skills and Experience Strong team-oriented mindset Flexibility and problem-solving skills High customer focus and enthusiasm Good stress and time management abilities Organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (B2-C1 level preferred) Offer Details Remuneration based on candidate’s skills and experience Opportunities for personal growth and ongoing education in a dynamic environment The position is based at the Reggio Emilia office of VCUBE S.r.l.
