Confirm goods availability with customers and coordinate with the production plant. Manage relationships with carriers and forwarders, including confirming dates, checking invoices, claims, and export documents. JOB SCOPE / DIMENSIONS Contribute to OTIF and customer satisfaction indicators. Contribute to claims KPIs. Maintain a safe personal environment and promote safety at all times. Support health, safety, and environmental programs (EHS). Participate in STEP initiatives and projects. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Confirm sales orders after planning discussions. Book transport through TMS, issue delivery notes, and related documents. Manage urgent customer deliveries. Handle customer complaints and root cause analysis impacting supply chain. Collaborate with Customer Service to provide goods status updates. Send purchase orders to suppliers, follow up on confirmations and ETAs. Monitor supplier deliveries, costs, and re-invoicing of non-conformities. Anticipate and manage delivery delays and emergencies. Send necessary documents to logistics providers. Reconcile invoices with the accounting department. Ensure data accuracy in software systems. Provide short- and mid-term collection information to loaders. Monitor supply chain KPIs. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Advanced SAP user, preferably Hana version. Bachelor or Master in International Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Imerys Leadership Behaviors Strong knowledge of transport and export documents; experience as customs or forwarder officer is valuable. Interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration. Leadership and project coordination abilities. Proficiency with ERP systems (JD Edwards). Fluent in English and Italian.
