Ph3Overview /h3 pFirenze, Italy (Hybrid) /p pJob Objective: The role includes analysis, development, testing, and documentation of embedded safety-critical software for interlocking systems. The candidate will be involved in all phases of the V-model lifecycle, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance (SIL), code quality, and cross-functional collaboration with international teams and suppliers. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyze software and safety requirements (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129). /li liDevelop embedded software in C/C++ for real-time systems. /li liProduce technical documentation in compliance with SIL standards. /li liParticipate in software Verification and Validation (VV) processes, including code review, static analysis, and unit testing. /li liCollaborate with system, hardware, and RAMS teams. /li liProvide technical interface with international teams and, when required, with certification bodies. /li /ul h3Skills and Experience (Qualifications) /h3 ul liMaster's Degree in Electronic, Computer or Telecommunications Engineering /li liExperience with embedded Linux or real-time systems. /li liKnowledge of GIT, CMake, and issue tracking tools (Jira, Bitbucket). /li liExperience with static and dynamic analysis tools (LDRA, GCC, Parasoft, etc.). /li liExperience with requirements management tools (e.g., Polarion). /li liFamiliarity with CENELEC EN 50126 / 50128 / 50129 standards. /li liAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics /li liFamiliarity with Matlab/Simulink is a plus. /li liDesirable experience in FPGA software development using HDL languages such as VHDL or Verilog, and related synthesis/simulation tools /li liAvailability to travel /li liFluency in Italian and English /li /ul pThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
