Overview

We are looking for an Apprentice for the Electrification & Automation Business Unit of Smart Infrastructures who will be trained in 2 years as an EHS Professional.

The Electrification & Automation Business Unit of Siemens enables the energy transition by making electrical infrastructure smart, automated, and digital. It delivers products, systems, software, and services for power distribution and grid automation that help utilities, industries, and infrastructure customers electrify operations, integrate renewables, and operate networks more efficiently, resiliently, and sustainably. Responsibilities
* Supporting the business in managing EHS matters related to site operations, including documentation workflows.
* Ensuring proper EHS qualifications for subcontractors involved in operations.
* Supporting Project Managers in site management by performing site‑specific compliance and safety audits.
* Using project engineering software tools to manage approval of workflows and documentation.
* Supporting project execution by completing required back‑office processes.
* Maintaining EHS documents and records, ensuring proper organization and accuracy.
* Supporting EHS Management and EHS Professionals in their daily duties.
* Tracking updates to EHS laws and regulations and ensuring internal alignment.
* Updating internal systems to reflect changes in EHS requirements or procedures.
* Filing documentation in accordance with corporate standards.
* Ensuring all relevant EHS information is up‑to‑date and accessible in the appropriate IT systems.
Qualifications
* You have less than 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract.
* Recent degree or diploma in Law, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Management Engineering or you have an EHS training or certifications.
* You have excellent command of Italian language as well as English.
* Good knowledge of key topics related to the Italian Legislative Decree 81/08.
* Experience in the safety field will be considered a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
* Passion for continuous learning and personal development.
* Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co‑create and share knowledge.
* Eligibility to work in Italy.

For apprenticeship contracts, the indicative gross annual salary range is between €28,475 and €35,700, depending on the candidate’s educational background. The apprenticeship program includes defined salary steps: compensation increases progressively based on seniority and the acquisition of skills, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL).
