As Manager, Financial Reporting, you will lead the consolidation and public‑facing financial reporting to support governance and growth. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure IFRS compliance, timely disclosures, and strong controls. The role sits in the Corporate Finance team in Calgary and reports to the Corporate Controller. You’ll tackle complex accounting matters, coordinate with external auditors, and contribute to continuous disclosure efforts.

- Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and legal entity reporting with notes and working papers
- Coordinate external audits for all reporting periods
- Assess and document IFRS treatments for complex transactions and prepare accounting memos
- Research new pronouncements and their impact on the company
- Maintain documentation to support financial statements and ensure internal controls over financial reporting
- Support month‑end and year‑end close, budgeting, and rolling 12‑month forecasts
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration at the executive level to ensure financial governance
- Assist with acquisitions/investments due diligence and related analyses
Responsabilità
- Accounting designation (CPA, CA) required
- Minimum 3–5 years of external financial reporting experience for a public company
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and continuous disclosure requirements
- Experience with public company filings and MD&A
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, well‑organized, detail‑oriented
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
