CAEN S.p.A. is seeking a motivated and skilled Production Test Electronic Technician to join our Product Test team. Join us and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the field of nuclear and particle physics instrumentation. The selected candidate will be part of a team of engineers and technicians dedicated to failure analysis and production testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform functional and performance tests on analog and digital electronic boards.
* Troubleshoot and identify failures or non-conformities at the component and system level.
* Support design and development teams by providing feedback on test results and production issues.
* Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
* Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and procedures.
* Contribute to the improvement and automation of testing processes and setups.
Qualifications & Skills
* High school diploma in Electronics or equivalent technical background.
* Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit theory.
* Experience (even basic) in soldering and micro-soldering activities.
* Proficiency in using electronic laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Team‐oriented attitude with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Commitment to delivering high‐quality work within defined timelines.
* Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming languages.
* Familiarity with electronic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer). xrdztoy
