TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a Matlab Simulink Engineer to join the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit.
The resource will be involved in algorithm development and modelling activities for advanced electro-optical sensing and passive sensing systems in the aeronautical domain.
The role includes architectural definition, modelling and simulation of algorithms for IR/EO/IRST systems, working in a structured Matlab/Simulink system and software engineering environment.
The project involves Model-Based Design, simulation and algorithm validation activities, with possible automatic generation and verification of C/C++ code, as well as technical documentation and support for integration and validation activities.
Main responsibilities:
* Support the definition of physical and functional architectures for passive sensing systems
* Contribute to the study and definition of algorithms for IR / EO / IRST systems
* Develop algorithmic models in Matlab / Simulink
* Support Model-Based Design Engineering and code generation activities
* Verify and validate developed algorithms through simulations and result analysis
* Support the preparation of project technical documentation
Required technical skills:
* Operational knowledge of Matlab and/or Simulink
* Basic knowledge of algorithm development or modelling/simulation activities
* Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages or willingness to deepen knowledge of them
* Knowledge of image processing and/or classical signal processing algorithms
* Good ability to read and write technical documentation in English
Optional technical skills:
* Experience with Model-Based Design / MBDE
* Knowledge of Simulink Coder / Embedded Coder
* Knowledge of EO/IR, IRST, missile warning and passive sensing systems
* Experience in aerospace, defence, avionics or embedded environments
* Knowledge of DO-178C, DO-331, DO-254 standards/processes
* Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments
