We are part of Daikin Industries, Ltd, the largest HVAC manufacturer, with more than 90,000 employees worldwide, over 100 production sites, and customers in more than 170 countries. /ppbr/ppFor our office instrong Ariccia (RM) /strong, we are looking for astrong DATA CENTRE KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER _HVAC Systems /strong /ppbr/ppThe role will have and develop a dedicated portfolio of developed and target data‑centre clients—including consultants, hyperscalers and global colocation providers—ensuring Daikin is their preferred partner from first enquiry through order‑to‑cash. Act as the single point of contact across the full project lifecycle, orchestrating internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer‑specific HVAC solutions, maximise bookings and margin, and feed market insights back to leadership. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliAccount Ownership Development – Maintain and expand relationships with assigned data‑centre accounts and influencers to secure master purchase agreements (MPAs) and repeat project wins. /liliOpportunity Management – Drive the enquiry→proposal→order→delivery→cash process; keep CRM pipeline, order status and revenue forecasts accurate and up to date. /liliCross‑Functional Leadership – Coordinate with Product Management, Applications Engineering, Service and Finance to craft customer‑specific HVAC solutions and ensure profitable execution. /liliRegional Global Alignment – Collaborate with fellow KAMs across Daikin Applied Europe and wider EMEA, and interface with global/other‑region KAMs for hyperscaler and multi‑region colocation accounts. /liliBusiness‑Development Follow‑Up – Qualify and advance leads generated by the Central Data‑Centre BD team, converting them into bookings. /liliCommercial Performance – Deliver on annual targets for bookings, invoicing, margin and account growth; track KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed. /liliVoice of Customer Market Intelligence – Provide structured feedback on industry trends, competitor moves and product gaps to Top Management and Product teams. /liliGovernance Compliance – Ensure all proposals, contracts and deliveries comply with Daikin policies, ethical standards and local regulations. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongKey Qualifications Experience /strong /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related technical field). /lili10+ years of combined experience in HVAC and/or Data‑Centre vertical markets; chiller/precision cooling knowledge highly valued. /liliProven track record of winning and managing large, multi‑site or multinational key accounts. /liliExisting network with data‑centre operators, consultants, hyperscalers and/or global colocation providers is preferred. /liliFluent English; additional European languages a plus. /liliWillingness to travel (~30–40%) across EMEA. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongCore Competencies Traits /strong /pulliCustomer‑centric results‑oriented /liliStrategic thinker with strong business acumen /liliCollaborative influencer: excels in cross‑functional and multicultural teams /liliProactive self‑starter who owns outcomes end‑to‑end /liliAdaptable agile in a fast‑evolving market /liliData‑driven decision maker with solid analytical skills /liliResilient negotiator with persuasive communication and presentation abilities /liliIntegrity accountability in all engagements /li /ulpbr/ppstrongKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) /strong /polliAccount growth (share‑of‑wallet) /liliQuality and timeliness of market intelligence provided to Product Management /liliAnnual bookings and margin vs. target /liliPipeline value, accuracy win rate /liliOn‑time invoicing /li /olpbr/ppstrongEmployment Terms /strong /pulliContract Type: Full‑time, permanent /liliWorking Model: Hybrid; office presence in Cecchina or regional Daikin locations as required /liliStart Date: ASAP /li /ulpbr/ppDaikin Applied Europe is committed to diversity and inclusion.
