In this role, you will support theteamand contribute toachieving successfulresultsinglobalresearch &development projectsworkinginourTransformerBusinessUnit in Monselice (PD).
How you'll make an impact
1. Lead and manage R&D projects, ensuringon-timedelivery withintheallocatedbudget, and with the required quality.
2. Assist R&D project managers acrossdifferent locations, as well as global product managers, with project business case preparation, cost evaluation for new R&D products, market introduction plans, and related activities.
3. Performtransformerelectrical designand/or design reviewand supervise the manufacturing and testing ofnew solutionsandprototypesaccording totechnical project specificationsbased ontheneeds of technology management,product managers,factoriesand related domain experts.
4. Assess and mitigate risksrelated tothe introduction ofnew technologiesandnewscientific solutions.
5. Perform finite element simulations for transformersfor projects or for troubleshootingassistancetofactories.
6. Share knowledge and results through technical reports, specifications, and participation in training or educational initiatives.
7. Document R&D results in the form of technical reports and presentations.
8. Support and contribute to failure analysis activities and to failure‑prevention programs.
Your background
9. Master’s degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent)andexperience in Transformerselectrical designordesign review with finite element tools.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilitiesand proven capability to work in a structured and methodical manner.
11. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is considered a plus.
12. Experience collaborating with multiple key stakeholders and colleagues across remote locations.
13. Experience with finite element simulations (e.g., magnetic and/or dielectric)ishighly valued.
14. Strong communicationand presentation skills.
15. You are innovative, creative, and proactively challenge existing approaches.
16. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
17. Fluent in English (written and spoken)
