Locations: Drachten, Krimpen aan den IJssel, Nijmegen or Oss - The Netherlands As a Hardware Engineer - Marine, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and optimizing electrical installations on board high-end maritime projects. You will work on systems related to power distribution, navigation, communication and safety, ensuring everything functions flawlessly both during installation and at sea. You will be involved throughout the full engineering process, from design and commissioning to testing and optimization. Your Responsibilities Designing electrical and mechanical systems for maritime projects Supervising and coordinating onboard installation activities Testing, commissioning and optimizing systems together with the project team Ensuring all systems operate according to the highest quality standards Collaborating closely with engineers, technicians and project teams Contributing with technical improvements and smart engineering solutions What We Are Looking For HBO level education or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar Several years of experience with electrical systems in the maritime industry Experience within shipbuilding, yachts or naval projects is mandatory Knowledge of EPLAN P8 and/or AutoCAD is considered a strong advantage Strong communication skills and hands-on mentality Good command of English Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands What You Will Receive ~ Competitive salary between €3,800 and €5,500 gross/month + overtime allowances ~25 vacation days + 13 ADV days ~ Pension plan according to the Metal & Technology collective agreement ~ Laptop, phone and all necessary working equipment ~ Training, coaching and career development opportunities ~ A dynamic international working environment within the maritime sector ~ Team events, sports activities and additional company benefits Relocation Support Through Xelvin, international candidates receive full relocation support to help ensure a smooth transition to the Netherlands.
