Job Overview
We are seeking an OT System Administrator for a client company operating in the food sector, based in the province of Padova Nord. The selected candidate will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and security of the industrial technological infrastructure, including automation, control, and monitoring systems.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage industrial control systems and devices to ensure continuous and optimal operation.
* Create and maintain company networks.
* Configure network equipment such as routers, firewalls, switches, access points, and NAS.
* Plan, configure, and implement production software (PLC, SCADA, etc.), managing external suppliers.
* Monitor OT systems for malfunctions or anomalies, ensuring quick and effective responses to minimize downtime.
* Collaborate closely with the IT team to ensure integration between IT and operational technologies, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will possess:
* Experience in a similar role.
* A diploma or degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
* In-depth knowledge of networking and firewalling.
* Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows.
