Italy is the Groups Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products. /ph3Job Objective /h3pbAs a Quality Assurance Manager: /b /pulliEvaluates the execution and provide visibility and insight about Quality matters on products development key bids and projects (Risk Driven Quality Assurance) according to Thales Management System (Chorus) and applicable regulations (ISO AQAP EASA) /li /ulpbAs an Engineering Quality Leader: /b /pulliSupports the development of the Engineering maturity (diagnostic proposals for improvement action plans follow-up problem solving) /li /ulh3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliProvides feedback about Quality risks to support decision during Bids and Projects reviews /liliEvaluates the execution of Products development / Bids and Projects management and provide visibility and insight about Quality matters /liliSupports problem solving analysis and resolution /liliSupports team in process tailoring /liliRaise alerts when process performance is not adequate supports action needed to restore required performance /liliSupports teams in managing Customer Complaints and restoring customer satisfaction /liliIs a quality referent in the engineering process (Solution SW HW) and practices to support its deployment / improvement /liliIdentify recurrent issues drive and investigate root cause analysis and coordinate transversal improvements that contributes to the mid / long-term maturity growth of the organisation /liliContributes to the analysis of performance indicators prevention support and capitalization /liliContributes to the deployment of new standards and regulations /liliSupport the external certifications and associated audits /liliAnalyse the data resulting from audits, return and customer complaints alert and veto right to prevent the risks /li /ulh3Skills, Experience and Qualifications /h3ulliAt least 7 years of Quality Assurance activities or senior experience in similar positions. /liliEducation / Qualifications University degree (Engineering or technical disciplines) or equivalent (Electronic is preferred). /liliExperience in Quality in Engineering / Development teams (preferable within Electronics / Aerospace context) /liliApplications with proven experience in at least two of the following three areas will be given greater consideration : /liliAGILE at SCALE (SW HW SYSTEM Integration) /liliIVVQ Strategy /liliStandardization (Configuration Management mindset) /liliProcess Analysis and Improvement /liliKnowledge of Quality Plan / Quality Inspection Test Plan /liliQuality Standards ISO 9001 / AS9100 and AQAP 2110 knowledge /liliStrong time management and organizational skills /liliIT tools (MS Office) /liliKey attitudes: Good analytical and synthetic mind ability to persuade on transversal topics (influence management) autonomous rigorous pragmatic ability to stepping back in order to anticipate problems capacity to work with multicultural teams /liliAbility to speak fluently in English /li /ulpThis position is also open to candidates belonging to protected categories as per Italian Law 68 / 99 /ppAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
