Under the guidance of our Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager will provide clinical nursing and programmatic direction for several of our Venice Family Clinic locations that provide care to low-income and homeless patients in the Los Angeles County area. The Nurse Manager : /pulliCoordinates training of medical assistants and nursing staff within their assigned region. /liliDevelops plans, policies, and protocols for the region's patient care programs. /liliCollaborates with the director of nursing to identify new modalities for providing care, and works as a key member of the regions clinical leadership team. /liliFocuses on population health, social determinants of health, continuous quality improvement, and innovation through design thinking and other means. /liliProvides leadership and supervision for the regional medical assistants, volunteer clinic assistants, and Nurses. /liliDirectly provides primary care nursing services in the clinics of their region's service area. /li /ulpThe University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
