The ideal candidate combines a strong technical background in Finite Element Analysis using Ansys and Hypermesh, with proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring a team of engineers. Experience in the aerospace, aero engine, mechanical transmissions, turbo-machinery, and Industrial rotating machines sectors is highly valued Key Responsibilities: • Lead and coordinate a team of FEM engineers working on structural analysis • Plan, assign, and monitor simulation activities to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. • Provide technical guidance and support in advanced FEA using Ansys and HyperMesh. • Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and customer requirements. • Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and project teams to support product development and optimization. • Support team members’ growth through mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation. • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in simulation methodologies and workflows. Work Experience Required Qualifications: • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. • Several years of hands-on experience in finite element modeling and analysis of mechanical components, preferably in the aero engine, aerospace industry, mechanical transmissions, and Industrial rotating machines (i.e. turbines, compressors, pumps). • Expertise in Ansys Mechanical and HyperMesh for linear/non-linear static, dynamic, and thermal analyses. • Strong understanding of material models, meshing strategies, boundary conditions, and result interpretation. • Proven experience in leading technical teams or people management roles. • Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Nice to have: • Experience with fatigue, fracture mechanics, and life prediction methodologies • Programming/scripting skills for analysis automation (APDL, Python, etc.) Additional requirement : In accordance with applicable national security regulations, this position may involve access to classified information or participation in restricted programs.
