Position Summary
You will provide statistical and mathematical expertise to support research projects contributing to meaningful scientific outcomes. You will deliver statistical expertise in alignment with project objectives and translate complex data into clear, evidence‑based decisions. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. It is a temporary maternity replacement. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Ensure that appropriate and efficient study designs are used in alignment with project objectives.
Coordinate transversally within the team, the statistical planning of different deliverables expected from Research Statistics in alignment with the project development plan.
Ensure that scientific questions for research objectives are defined clearly and that data collection, statistical methods and analyses are optimally designed to provide statistical evidence to answer those questions.
Shares examples of statistical contributions at internal technical discussions/forums.
Establish/implement solution for standardization within the team and at business partner level.
Provide insight on the risk associate to decision.
Applies standard processes to tasks, ensuring that deliverables are accurate, high quality and met according to agreed timelines.
Performs required archiving activities and understands the implications of accurate and timely documentation.

Basic Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent and/or a combination of education and experience.
Maintains awareness of current statistical literature and research new techniques.
Demonstrates strong statistical expertise with a good understanding of design of experiments and inference methodologies.
Supports design, analysis and interpretation, uses a wide range of statistical approaches and/or applicable software to explore options (e.g. simulation, Bayesian methods).
Knowledge of statistical software (e.g., R) and able to program and run routine, standard statistical analyses in an open‑source programming language (R).
Delivers presentations with clarity in internal forums and/or external professional industry meetings.
Good written and verbal communications skills in English; able to explain technical ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with remote colleagues.
PhD in Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
Experience with simulation studies, Bayesian methods or advanced modelling techniques.
Prior experience in pharmaceuticals, clinical research or preclinical study support.
Familiarity with data standards and reproducible analysis workflows.
Experience mentoring colleagues and contributing to methodological standards.
