Ensure safety of personnel, environmental protection, and technical integrity across all electrical activitiesParticipate in near‐miss analysis, HAZOPs, risk assessments, safety audits, RCAs, and incident investigationsLead the Electrical Engineering Specialist team and oversee all technical activitiesReview and adjust preventive electrical maintenance plans, frequencies, and tasksSupervise the scheduling and coherence of all electrical work requestsPrepare, review, and update monthly performance reports (preventive, corrective, cost, KPIs, budget follow‐up)Provide technical expertise for electrical maintenance operations to optimise reliability and cost efficiencyReview procedures, documentation, safety manuals, and ensure proper updates and archivingProduce new electrical maintenance procedures and validate existing ones according to company maintenance policyEnsure quality control during all maintenance execution activitiesSupport Plant Maintenance and Reliability teams in troubleshooting technical issuesConduct root‐cause analysis and implement improvements to enhance reliability and reduce failuresEnsure adequate availability of electrical spare parts and materials; review stock and justify material needsCoordinate electrical contractor activities and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and contractual deliverablesDevelop technical scopes of work, review contractor documentation, and support pre‐qualification processesSupervise vendors providing specialist control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation servicesEnsure backups of electrical control systems, PLCs, and package systems are updated and securely archivedImplement electrical modification proposals through the Management of Change systemProvide inputs for the Electrical discipline in the Asset Reference Plan (ARP)Maintain technological awareness through continuous engagement with HQ and industry standardsSupport development, performance management, and training of national employeesIdentify training needs and ensure implementation of approved development programsSet yearly objectives for subordinates and conduct regular performance reviews and annual appraisals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent international qualificationMinimum 20 years of maintenance experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical industriesMinimum 10 years of experience in LNG producing plants (not LNG terminals)Strong technical expertise in variable speed drives, gas turbine generators, emergency diesel generators, transformers, protection systems, boards, and electrical drawersStrong knowledge of international electrical codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, API, EN, ATEX, IECEx, ISO for electrical machinery)Good knowledge of SAP‐based CMMS systemsStrong computer literacy and electrical systems integration knowledgeExcellent command of written and spoken English
