WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We are looking for a Bid Engineer – Space Programmes & New Business to join our Commercial Department on a full-time basis.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify, monitor and assess new tender opportunities and business prospects aligned with the Company's growth strategy.
- Lead and coordinate the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity assessment through proposal submission, working closely with technical teams and key stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals, ensuring competitiveness, accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and prime contractors throughout the bidding, negotiation, and contract award process.
- Coordinate contracts overseeing the successful execution of activities and ensuring fulfillment of contractual commitments.
- Support Business Development initiatives by identifying and developing new opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, customer requirements, applicable regulations and internal company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Bid Management, Business Development, Account Management or related commercial roles;
- Proven experience in managing complex bids and proposals;
- Previous experience in the Space industry (preferred)
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, tenders and contract management;
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
- Excellent Italian language skills;
- Fluent English, both written and spoken – minimum B2+ level
