RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Cost Controller to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Planning & Control Division.
Mission
In this role, you will contribute to the Group’s financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring processes. We are offering a fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave.
Key Accountabilities
Support in the delivery of financial information, analysis and forecasts to support continuous improvement of business performance;
Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analysing and explaining information;
Support and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports that compare actual results with forecasts;
Support and preparation of the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and implementation;
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures;
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyse causes of unexpected;
Manage cost allocation drivers;
Registry management cost allocation drivers.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in cost controlling, budgeting, finance, or a related role.
Basic understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis).
Ability to work with large datasets and perform cost variance analysis.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different departments.
Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
