Multinational company, world leader in the engineering & manufacturing of lift trucks for materials handling, search for its Italian Plant near Milan an:Warehouse Application EngineerJob DescriptionWorking within the Global Application Engineering Team the candidate will support the following activities.Key accountabilities will vary depending on the seniority of the appointment and may include:Responding to new sales technical support requests via Contact Management or NOVO CPQ within set KPI’s, maintaining and updating the status of all requests in line with relevant proceduresProviding timely and accurate special quotations and technical support to Internal Sales teams and our Dealer partners in response to customer requests, RFQ’s and/or tender requestsManaging the pricing and availability of special “SPED” sales options and quoted items on Hyster/Yale product, maximizing profitability on special options and quotes while maintaining overall competitiveness of truck salesDefining the right truck for the application through customer visits and assessments on-site and/or evaluating customer applications and providing special options to meet customer requirementsGuiding sales staff to specify and sell the appropriate truck for a given customer applicationProviding excellent customer service to internal and external customersIdentifying changes to reduce special option cost and increase profit margin/efficiencyTruck capacity calculation and advice relating to the correct size/model of truck for any given customer applicationSupport marketing and promotion of special “SPED” solutions to increase the sale of HYMH ProductMaking recommendations to the Product Manager for future standard product improvements and innovationsSkills required:University degree in Mechanical or Electric/Electronic EngineeringAlternatively High School Diploma in technical disciplines (Mechanical or Electric/Electronics) with 2-3 years experience will be considered.Experience required for this position is 5+ years but suitable candidates with less than this will still be considered and the seniority of the appointment adjusted accordingly. Any relevant experience must include working in a technical role.Fluent in English as working in an international environment and with a foreign senior managementAppreciation of business and commercial issuesMicrosoft Office skills including the ability to create spreadsheets, reports, analyse data and make recommendations based upon this
