Purpose of the job
The Industrialization Engineer is responsible for industrializing maintenance, renovation/modernization, and warranty activities to ensure the delivery of maintenance and production objectives.
Responsibilities
Analyze requirements described in the maintenance plan.
Draft and validate process documentation (Standard Operation Sheet).
Identify necessary tools and materials, from technical specifications to field validation.
Organize layout (facilities, workstations, material/people flow, number of operators, civil works).
Collaborate with the project team to implement strategies that maximize the utilization of production resources.
Organize maintenance activities in line with Alstom standards, including sequence, cycle time, delivery, packaging, ergonomics, skills, EHS, and quality requirements.
Manage documentation on SAP Railsys (task list, materials, tools).
Validate processes on-site with the operations team.
Manage suppliers for main equipment creation.
Identify actions to improve project performance.
Ensure adherence to the allocated budget.
Develop business cases for investment evaluation and Make or Buy strategies.
Requirements
2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in the railway industry within an international organization.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
Technical experience in Methods Engineering, writing and improving manufacturing or maintenance instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing.
Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, and configuration management.
Knowledge of Quality and Health Safety standards and systems.
Proven ability to innovate and manage change.
Excellent teamwork skills and stakeholder engagement at various levels.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Desire to learn and develop professionally.
Fluency in English and Italian.
