POur client is a global renewable energy company and one of Europe’s largest independent power producers with offices in Milan. /ppReporting to the Head of Global HSQE, the HSQE Manager Italy will be responsible for coordinating Health Safety, Quality, and Environmental activities across the Italian operations. The role involves establishing and monitoring a proactive and dynamic approach to HSQE, supporting the operation of renewable energy assets, including wind and solar farms. /ppThe HSQE Manager will collaborate closely with global and local teams, such as Asset Maintenance and Asset Management, as well as with external consultants and contractors, to promote a strong HSQE culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance. /ppKey Responsibilities /pulliMaintain and ensure the implementation of HSQE policies and procedures. /liliPlease make sure that compliance with regulatory requirements in terms of health and safety, as well as through the assumption of the appointment as Dirigente Delegato, according to Italian Legislative Decree 81/08, for Italian companies. /liliDevelop and oversee action plans for preventive and corrective activities at wind and solar farms. /liliImplement and coordinate emergency procedures. /liliMonitor and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with legal and the company ́s requirements. /liliSupport local organisations in ensuring compliance with legal requirements. /liliGuide colleagues and contractors on method statements, safe systems of work, updated legislation, and best practices across jurisdictions. /liliDefine and implement HSQE training plans at the local level. /liliContribute to the development of company-wide HSQE policies, guidelines, procedures, objectives, and KPIs. /liliManage, monitor, and analyse HSQE performance data. /liliInvestigate and respond to accidents and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and identifying areas for improvement. /liliSupport hazard identification, risk evaluation, and control of occupational and environmental risks. /liliParticipate in designing initiatives to promote environmental and safety awareness internally and externally. /liliHold regular meetings with global and local functions to assess HSQE needs and provide support at both corporate and local levels. /liliReview and validate HSQE requirements in contracts. /li /ulpRequirements /pulliMinimum 7 years of experience in HSE management in the renewable energy sector, particularly wind and solar. /liliExperience working with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems. /liliExperience in developing and implementing safety and environmental procedures. /liliExperience in conducting site inspections and audits. /li /ululliDegree in Engineering, preferably Environmental Engineering. /liliOccupational Health Safety Diploma (RSPP). /liliInternal auditor on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and knowledge of ISO 9001. /liliQualification for carrying out safety training is preferred. /liliFluent in Italian and English. /li /ulpAbout you /pulliStrong organisational and project management skills. /liliExcellent communication skills - written and verbal. /liliHands-on proactivity. /liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team. /liliAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. /liliAbility to interface effectively with all levels of the organisation as well as organisations outside of the company. /liliWorking knowledge of safety and environmental legislation. /liliDynamic, proactive, and well organised. /lili Availability to travel within Italy. /li /ulpAbout Us /ppClimate17 is a purpose-led, international Renewable Energy Sustainability recruitment firm.
