Mission
* The Portfolio Manager supports expertise across all project phases, including Engineering, Design, Research & Technology, with focus on Cost, Schedule, Risk, and Change management.
* The Portfolio Manager aims to provide portfolio analysis and rebalancing, considering risk and time to benefit.
* The role involves guiding continuous process assessment within R&D planning, ensuring proper execution of product development processes (Gates and Phases), Strategic Product Planning, Agile, and ASPICE.
* Ensure alignment of R&D and Technology roadmaps with strategic objectives.
* Guarantee process uniformity and provide strategic vision.
* Establish KPIs and generate reports for investment performance, project status, and R&T activities.
Report to
* Hierarchically reports to the R&D Manager.
Main Responsibilities
* Guide the PMO and Competence teams.
* Promote synergies and best practices across departments.
* Regularly communicate portfolio status to management.
* Contribute to R&D management with vision and strategic direction.
* Align investments with strategic product goals.
* Participate in strategic product planning, anticipating future challenges and developing solutions.
* Ensure timely and quality product and technology roadmaps.
* Align R&T activities with R&D phases across the product development lifecycle.
* Manage team performance, provide feedback, delegate tasks, and monitor workload.
* Implement training plans for resources.
* Promote and embody corporate culture and strategy.
* Lead with inspiration, motivate teams, foster a growth mindset, and maintain a positive environment.
* Communicate and share vision passionately and effectively.
* Build trust-based relationships within the company and contribute to its success.
Qualifications
* PMP Certification.
* Deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
* Knowledge of Process Phase/Gates methodologies for product development.
* People management skills, including direct and indirect reports.
* Structured, organized, and team-oriented.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to travel.
* Proactive and dedicated.
* Resilient under stress.
* Minimum 10 years of project management experience, especially with complex, multi-brand portfolios.
* Comprehensive risk and change management expertise.
* Proven problem-solving skills in cross-functional environments.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Project.
