Job Description
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive remediation of audit findings within Amazon’s global data center footprint. The TPM will partner with cross‑functional regional teams in the Americas to mitigate and ultimately remediate risks from Amazon‑owned and colocation data center providers. The role requires expertise in data center infrastructure and operations, program management, and the ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources to develop coherent strategies for our global portfolio. The TPM must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience reporting progress at an SVP level. Tolerance of ambiguity and the ability to deliver results under tight timelines are essential.
Responsibilities
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to remediate audit‑identified risks. • Engage stakeholders across multiple teams to align priorities and deliver key milestones. • Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal and remote teams. • Analyze complex data, develop strategies, and present coherent recommendations to senior leadership. • Manage large capital budgets and influence technical subject matter experts to achieve program objectives.
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
* Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
* Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, or 4+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
* Data center, networking engineering, systems engineering, or construction management background.
* Experience managing complex technology infrastructure projects, including data center design, construction, and fit‑out projects.
* Proficiency in multiple project management methodologies.
* Experience delivering projects across multiple locations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
* Familiarity with the AWS product suite.
