As a key member of the Corporate Accounting & Consolidations team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the business.In this role, you will take ownership of the monthly close process for designated business units—driving accurate, timely, and compliant financial results in a fast-paced environment. You'll go beyond execution, proactively identifying risks, resolving discrepancies, and continuously improving close processes to enhance efficiency and control.You will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, and operational partners to ensure alignment between financial reporting and business performance. Supports the Company's S4/HANA implementation journey, as neededAnalyze financial statement activity to proactively identify opportunities or risk facilitating overall accuracy of financial recordsCreate and maintain data developed metrics, analyses, and report formats to facilitate accuracy of balance sheet accruals and analyze budget variances and business trendsManage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issuesPartners functionally to manage the following areas:
Trade and other gross to net accountingAdvertising and promotional spendingOther SG&A spend, including (but not limited to) legal, IT, workers compensation & insurance, employee related costs, etc.
Assist FP&A with preparation of annual budgetLead new areas with the Jelly Belly migration, as needed

Experiences that will support your success
Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of accounting experienceCPA certification preferredAccounting experience across multiple areas preferably with manufacturing or consumer products companiesPublic accounting, preferably Big 4 or large regional firm, experience a plusHigh proficiency in MS Excel and Office SuiteSAP (including S4/HANA) and Oracle EPM / FCCS experience a plusSuperior written and oral communication skillsUS GAAP and IFRS experience preferred
