For an important insurance broker with offices in 12 countries, we are looking for a System Engineer
Job Responsibilities :
1. Design, implement and monitor IT infrastructure systems (Operating Systems, Middleware and Databases) in alignement with Group security policies and resilience requirements,
2. Establish and documents IT infrastructure guidelines or SOP (Standard Operating Procedures),
3. Translate customer and development needs into reliable IT infrastructure setups,
4. Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability (Design, reactivity to incidents and on-call systems),
5. Implement warranty and support activities,
6. Evaluate the existing systems and provides the technical direction to their evolution,
7. Plan and implement system automation as required for better efficiency,
8. Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirement,
9. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures,
10. Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders,
11. Provide IT infrastructure management or support activities to all group entities (Based in France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany, UK, Hungary and Belgium).

Education and Experience Requirements:
21. IT Engineering Degree,
22. Good Microsoft Windows Server experience,
23. Good Microsoft SQL Server System Management experience (DBA skills are not required),
24. Good Microsoft Azure cloud experience,
25. Network experience is appreciated,
26. Linux experience is appreciated (Especially with Red Hat OpenShift),
27. Certification may be helpful.
