Marketing & Content Specialist (Italy) Remote from North Italy — with occasional travel within Italy and to Spain Language Requirements: Italian, Advanced English (C1), Spanish is a plus Employment Type: Full-time Smileat is the leading reference brand for organic and natural baby food in Spain. Since then, we have achieved resounding success, rapidly consolidating our position as the number two baby food brand overall in Spain and the undisputed leader in the bio segment. Furthermore, we are a profitable company backed by key strategic investors who fully support our ambitious growth goals. ⭐ Launching the Italian Market After triumphing in the Spanish market, Smileat is embarking on an ambitious international expansion plan.

It is the perfect moment to bring our mission and innovative products to new families. We are looking for the right person to build our brand presence, capture hearts, and translate our unique culture for Italian parents. You will act as the brand custodian and market launcher, translating our core culture through creative digital copy, high-impact social media management, localized event execution, influencer networks, and healthcare professional endorsements, while providing strategic support to our local sales team.

This role requires a highly autonomous and proactive professional capable of independently driving projects and priorities in a remote work environment.

Digital

Copy, Content & Paid Social Paid Social & UGC: Plan localized paid social campaigns (Meta). Define creative angles, localized messaging, and campaign structures tailored to Italian consumers. Analyze performance data (creatives, copy, formats) to continuously iterate and improve campaigns. Identify and coordinate with local UGC creators aligned with the brand.

Content Creation: Write high-impact copy for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Create organic content specifically for TikTok, actively participating in front of and behind the camera. Adapt global ideas across channels while spotting local trends to turn them into immediate brand opportunities.

Community Management: Engage daily with our Italian community to foster strong brand affinity, convert audiences, and build brand love.

Field Marketing & Event Activations Family Events: Proactively search for relevant family-oriented events, parenting fairs, and local gatherings across Italy. Coordinate materials, product sampling, and actively participate in these events to drive face-to-face consumer acquisition and community trust.

Influencer

Marketing & Barter Collaborations Identify, pitch, and build long-term relationships with Italian micro and macro-influencers (maternity, lifestyle, healthy living).

Barter Management: Oversee barter collaborations from end to end, ensuring quality content delivery, analyzing results, and optimizing product distribution budgets.

Network Building: Search for, identify, and establish communication with key Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), including pediatricians, pediatric nurses, and child nutritionists in Italy.

Present

Smileat's healthy food credentials to secure professional endorsements and build medical trust within the Italian market.

Commercial Alignment: Provide active support to the local sales team whenever needed by preparing localized trade marketing materials, presentation kits, and retail-specific copy to maximize store listings and commercial success.

Cultural Translator: You love writing and possess an innate ability to adapt brand tone, voice, and nuances to the Italian market.

Autonomous & Driven: You are comfortable working remotely, managing multiple workflows independently, and maintaining cross-functional communication with headquarters. You excel at working autonomously, taking ownership of your responsibilities, making decisions independently, and proactively moving projects forward without constant supervision.

Analytical & Creative: You think outside the box creatively but rely on metrics, analytics, and data to evaluate success. You genuinely care about what you do—and about what children eat.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or brand coordination. Solid background in digital environments (social media management, UGC activation, Meta Ads ecosystem). food or baby food sector experience is a major plus.

Languages: Italian speaker with absolute mastery of written communication.

Advanced

English (C1 minimum) is required for internal communication. Fluency or good professional proficiency in Spanish is highly valued to streamline alignment with the Spanish HQ. Readiness to travel within Italy and to Spain from time to time for team alignments and event executions. ❤️ Be part of a brand that’s changing the future of children's food.
