We champion an entrepreneurial culture to unlock full our potential by bringing energy to the world. /p h3Partner with the best /h3 pAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the daily operation of the industrial painting area by developing and optimizing painting processes, designing, or improving equipment, and resolving production issues in collaboration with Production Supervisors and execution leaders. You will apply manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. /p h3You will be responsible for: /h3 pParticipating in, upholding, and promoting the Baker Hughes safety culture, with a focus on chemical and environmental safety in painting operations. /p pWork closely with Production Supervisors to troubleshoot painting-related issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner. /p pOptimize painting cycles, drying times, and application methods to drive innovation, standardization, cost reduction, and lead time improvement. /p pLeverage new technologies (e.g., robotic painting, electrostatic systems) and methods to increase productivity and ensure coating quality. /p pCollaborate with Engineering and Procurement to scout new suppliers of paints, solvents, and equipment, benchmark best practices, and provide tailored solutions. /p pBe involved in manufacturability assessment of new painted components and support ITO in quotations involving surface treatments. /p pAct as the interface between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers to address technical needs, ensure compliance with specifications, and digitalize painting process documentation. /p h3Additional Duties /h3 pInitiate and Management of Changes related to painting processes, materials, and equipment. /p pCoordinate maintenance of painting booths, ovens, and ventilation systems to ensure operational reliability and safety. /p pOrganize and optimize tooling, masking systems, and paint inventory management. /p h3Fuel your passion /h3 h3To be successful in this role you will have: /h3 pAt least 5 years of experience in a Production Environment, preferably in industrial painting or surface treatment. /p pProven knowledge of painting processes (liquid, powder, electrostatic), surface preparation, and coating standards. /p pProficiency in MS Office suite, SAP, and digital tools for process documentation and analysis. /p pFamiliarity with environmental regulations and safety standards related to painting operations (e.g., VOC emissions, ATEX zones). /p pTechnical problem solving /p pQuality and safety orientation /p pEffective communication /p pPlanning and time management /p pKnowledge of environmental and HSE regulations /p h3Work in a way that works for you /h3 pWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
