EU Amazon Transportation Services ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Expert to help develop a world-class middle mile process that delivers goods on time at the best cost.
This position will support Amazon Transportation Services and drive operational excellence and project management across the entire EU Fulfillment Center, Sort Center, Air Node, and Delivery Station network. A successful candidate will have experience managing large and complex projects with a bias for action needed in a startup environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Passion for continuous improvement and developing mechanisms to reduce defects
* Strong change management and implementation experience, including the ability to engage effectively with high levels of management
* Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
* Ability to drive projects from initially ambiguous states
* Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions and develop business cases
* Ability to write detailed project and business plans
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
Key job responsibilities include:
* Driving network-level excellence by designing and implementing systems, metrics, and programs that maximize compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement
* Building strong partnerships with operations field leaders to identify impacts of new initiatives and successfully deploy them onsite
* Engaging with other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for customers
* Collaborating with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support business growth
* Supporting the improvement of standard work and ACES Training program content and delivery
* Creating benchmark standards and audit processes
* Analyzing operational barriers and understanding root causes to develop solutions

Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, the team ensures maximum efficiency. They leverage data to drive decisions and improve operations, prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications include:
* A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a technical field
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
* Relevant experience in supply chain, transportation, project management, or management consulting
* Experience managing multiple projects
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
* Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders
* Approximately 30-40% travel required
Preferred qualifications include experience in process improvement, analytical tool building, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
