PpWe are seeking a Senior Specialist – Logistic Handling Tooling Engineer to join our Blades Process Engineering organization in Taranto. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the design, development, and optimization of tools for blade handling and logistics. /li liDefine tooling requirements, specifications, and industrialization standards. /li liDevelop and execute a tooling and supplier roadmap, including AS-IS and future state analysis. /li liOversee supplier management, CAPEX budget planning, and tooling delivery (TPM). /li liDefine and implement service and maintenance strategies, including EAM. /li liDrive tooling optimization projects for existing equipment. /li liEnsure tooling meets CE marking, safety regulations, sustainability, and energy efficiency standards. /li liApply structured problem‑solving methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) to resolve issues. /li liUse Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. /li liContribute to a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. /li liGreen Belt Lean certification (preferred). /li liApproximately 10 years of experience in tooling engineering roles within manufacturing. /li /ul h3Proven Track Record In /h3 ul liTool development and specifications. /li liMaintenance planning and service strategies. /li liSupplier management and tooling projects. /li liData‑driven decision‑making and process analysis. /li liDriving optimization and standardization in manufacturing environments. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liAbility to capture functional and non‑functional requirements and design for manufacturability maintainability. /li liStrong expertise in handling and logistics tools for large components (materials, blade parts, full blades). /li liDeep understanding of mechanical tolerances, automation, and equipment safety standards. /li liKnowledge of CE compliance, safety regulations, sustainability, and energy efficiency. /li liExperience in root‑cause analysis and systematic problem solving in production settings. /li liPreferably, knowledge of composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins). /li liStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across cultures and time zones. /li liSelf‑motivated, result‑oriented, and committed to continuous learning. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liA senior engineering role with high impact on process excellence and innovation. /li liThe opportunity to lead tooling projects that directly influence blade manufacturing performance. /li liCollaboration with a global, multicultural engineering community. /li liA role that combines technical depth, project leadership, and supplier management. /li /ul pThis position is based in Taranto, Italy.
