A privately owned, internationally expanding luxury fragrance business is seeking an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of its IT systems and support a critical phase of digital and operational development.
Reporting directly into senior leadership, this is a hands-on role with responsibility across infrastructure, ERP, and e-commerce platforms, supporting a multi-channel, production-led organisation.
The Role
The IT Manager will be responsible for the stability, optimisation and evolution of the company's IT landscape, ensuring systems are robust, scalable and aligned with business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, backups and security
Monitoring system and network performance and coordinating maintenance, updates and troubleshooting
Leading ERP optimisation and development in partnership with external consultants, supporting production, administration, supply chain and logistics
Supporting the implementation and integration of digital platforms, including Shopify
Defining and implementing IT protocols and best practices across departments
Providing hands-on troubleshooting and technical support to ensure business continuity
Training and supporting internal users and acting as the link between end users and external IT partners
Supporting workflow automation and project management tools alongside Operations
The Profile
Minimum 7 years' experience in IT systems, infrastructure, network management or related roles
Strong experience working with ERP systems; exposure to Shopify is highly desirable
Solid background in helpdesk support, troubleshooting and systems administration
Technical knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration and working knowledge of HTML/CSS
Strong communication and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar; certifications are advantageous
Fluent in Italian and English
Hands-on, pragmatic and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
