Ph3Overview /h3 pHealth Safety Specialist - Italy role at Affinity Petcare. The specialist reports to the Country Health Safety Manager in Italy and is responsible for supporting the implementation of safe working practices across all business functions, ensuring compliance with the safety and occupational risk prevention system through appropriate actions and processes. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liParticipate in risk assessment, planning, and monitoring of the execution of corrective and preventive actions /li liCoordinate external service providers and prevention services /li liConduct regular visits and inspections /li liMonitor and update Health Safety KPIs for the site /li liSupport the HS Manager France in implementing applicable local and global regulations on site /li liEstablish health and safety systems and procedures to meet specific requirements /li liOrganize and deliver safety training to all staff in partnership with the Human Resources department /li liMonitor, evaluate, and report on safety processes and health safety performance on site; collaborate with management to develop and implement improvements /li liFoster a safety culture throughout the plant, based on continuous risk reduction and prevention of safety-related incidents /li liSupport employees by providing expertise, guidance, and hands-on assistance to maintain safe systems /li liConduct investigations into accidents and incidents to determine root causes; prepare and share accident flashes, safety alerts, and best practices /li liEnsure safety-related documentation and working procedures of subcontractors are followed up /li liActively participate in the implementation of the integrated management system /li liBoost health and safety initiatives by increasing awareness and promoting a safety culture (BSO) /li liEnsure that all incidents are recorded and appropriately investigated /li liParticipate in safety committees to track actions as needed /li /ul h3What We Are Looking For /h3 ul liDegree in Occupational Health and Safety (Bachelor’s level) / solid initial experience in safety-related roles (ideally in the consumer goods, food, and/or pet food industries) /li liStrong decision-making skills /li liAttention to detail and rigor /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills /li liAnalytical mindset and problem-solving ability /li liStrong team spirit and recognized leadership /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liDiscount on Amazon products /li liAffinity University platform: Professional development opportunities for employees at different stages of their career, recognising different career paths /li liCelebration and fun /li /ul pIf you don’t meet all the requirements, don’t worry.
