Don't miss your chance to make an impact! /p pWe are looking for an experienced Grant Manager to be responsible for ensuring the acquisition, proper financial management, and compliant reporting of funded projects (EU, National ITA and UK and regional) maximizing contributions obtained, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, and minimizing audit risks. You will work closely with Finance/Controlling, RD, Operations, Legal, and PMO, reporting directly to the Finance Director. /p pYou will also be responsible for managing reports and documentation related to tax credits (Research and Development, Italy and UK, 4.0 or similar) /p pPlease note that recruitment for this position will take place on a rolling basis, meaning that should the ideal candidate be identified the vacancy will be closed. Should you be interested in the role, we encourage you to promptly apply by sending your updated CV and a brief motivation letter highlighting funded projects managed (program, role, budget); measurable results achieved (funds secured, audits passed, process improvements) and tools and methodologies used. /p h3Scouting and Planning /h3 ul liMonitor and identify funding opportunities (EU: Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, LIFE, Innovation Fund, EIC; national/PNRR; regional FESR/FSE+ programs); /li liAssess eligibility, cumulation rules, and funding feasibility; /li liDevelop and maintain a structured funding pipeline with associated business cases and financial impacts (cash and PL). /li /ul h3Proposal Preparation and Submission /h3 ul liCoordinate proposal development with RD and Business Units, defining work packages, milestones, and KPIs; /li liPrepare project budgets (personnel, direct costs, subcontracting, equipment, overheads/indirects, lump sum/unit costs) and calculate person-months/daily rates; /li liManage administrative and financial documentation and contractual aspects (Grant Agreements, Consortium Agreements – e.g., DESCA –, NDAs, IP clauses); /li liHandle submissions on dedicated portals (e.g., EU Funding Tenders) and liaise with funding authorities; /li /ul h3Post-Award Management and Reporting /h3 ul liSet up project cost centers, order codifications, and accounting plans in the ERP system (e.g., SAP/Oracle) in line with timesheet and cost accounting policies; /li liMonitor project financial progress, cash flow (pre-financing, milestones, balance payments), and grant income forecasting; /li liPrepare interim and final financial/technical reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation (timesheets, contracts, invoices, orders, deliverables); /li liEnsure compliance with procurement rules, State aid regulations (GBER, de minimis, cumulation), cost eligibility, depreciation, and allocation principles; /li liCoordinate audits and verifications (First Level Control, EC or Managing Authority audits); ensure audit readiness and manage any corrective actions. /li /ul h3Governance, Control, and Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liDevelop and update internal policies and procedures for grant management and document retention; /li liPerform internal controls on deviations, absorption rates, eligibility, and project risks; propose corrective actions as needed; /li liSupport the accounting treatment of grants and their presentation in the financial statements, in collaboration with Accounting/Controlling; /li liTrain operational and functional teams on grant management rules and best practices; promote PMO standards. /li /ul h3Relationships and Negotiation /h3 ul liAct as the main point of contact with funding bodies (European Commission, Ministries, Regional Authorities, Agencies such as Invitalia) and consortium partners; /li liSupport negotiations of consortium agreements, IP, and financial clauses in collaboration with Legal; /li liWork with Tax on the alignment and cumulation of grants with fiscal incentives (e.g., RD and Industry 4.0 tax credits). /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pSuccess on track starts with people, talented individuals who grow, learn, and push forward together. On top of a competitive salary, here’s what else you can enjoy with us: /p ul liWorking in a young, collaborative and international environment. /li liTailored training. /li liCompany Events / Briefings. /li liOnsite Gym. /li liBonus scheme. /li liAnnual salary review process. /li liMeal Tickets /li liFree additional health insurance /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liDegree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree in Project Management or European Affairs is considered a plus; /li liRelevant experience in grant management or subsidized finance within industrial or research environments; /li liProven experience managing multi-project portfolios and EU/national funding programs; /li liIn-depth knowledge of Horizon Europe (including cost models, unit costs/daily rates, timesheets), PNRR, national (MIMIT/MUR/Regional) programs, FESR/FSE+, LIFE, Digital Europe, and EIC calls; /li liFamiliarity with State aid rules (GBER, de minimis, cumulation); /li liExperience in reporting and auditing RD, pilot/demonstration (TRL 5–9), and CAPEX investment projects; procurement and subcontracting procedures; /li liUnderstanding of grant accounting and IAS 20/IFRS principles; integration with closing, budgeting/forecasting, and cash management processes; /li liContract management skills (Grant/Consortium Agreements, IP, NDAs) in cooperation with the legal function; /li liAdvanced Excel and experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools) and Project management tools (MS Project, Planner); /li liFamiliarity with EU Funding Tenders Portal and national/regional funding platforms; /li liFluent Italian and professional English (C1 level, written and spoken); /li liHigh accuracy, integrity, and results orientation with a proactive and detailed oriented approach to work; /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage priorities and tight deadlines; /li liClear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; /li liCross-functional collaboration mindset and team player attitude; /li liNegotiation and relationship management skills with funding authorities and partners. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
