MAIN ACTIVITIES
The Feature Lead Engineer role is to analyze, review, refine, plan, define, and release new software applications, with the focus on component requirements in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing requirements, coding review, testing support, and analyzing system requirements for programs and applications. The Feature Lead engineer will monitor the software development activities correctly, prioritizing the most critical features or issues. This individual will also provide support and guidance to the dev team.
REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
* University degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and 5 to 12 years equivalent work experience
Technology & Domain
* 4G/5G Modem, C-V2X, Ultra Wide Band, NFC, CAN, Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, TLS, DTLS
* MQTT, OMA-DM, LWM2M
* NAD, Application Processor, SoC,, HSM, SEE
* Industry knowledge in the Connectivity or Cockpit or Cloud solution development in automotive or consumer space
* Linux and Autosar (classic and adaptive)
The key position requirements of Software Engineer include:
* Deep rooted understanding of connectivity platforms on board and off board
* Experience with native software engineering stacks (C/C++)
* Application framework (macchina) and application sandboxing
* Experience on Requirement definition for automotive projects
* Understanding of signal, API and service-oriented interface design
* Knowledge of SAFe Agile practices
* Experience with multiple vehicle architectures
* Experience with startup configuration, scripting and application development.
* Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues.
* Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans.
* Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
* Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
* Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.
* Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products. Highly self-motivated and directed.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
* Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
