Job Description As a Project Manager (PjM) within the AVL ITS organization, you will be at the forefront of driving customer projects to success. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring that projects are executed flawlessly, meeting targets for customer satisfaction, budget adherence, delivery quality, and timelines. Your role is pivotal in promoting AVL's ITS solutions to customers, acting as a competent and inspiring leader. You will contribute significantly to the development and continuous improvement of our project organization. The complexity and size of the projects you manage will challenge your technical and social skills, making each day dynamic and rewarding. Responsibilities Support the Sales Team during the offer phase by setting up project structure, timeline, risk assessment, and WBS. Take overall responsibility for the project during the handover from Sales, focusing on building and leading the global project organization. Ensure effective communication throughout the project execution. Manage the customer project or specific parts of it through all phases of the ITS Project Process (IPP), aiming to maintain or exceed customer satisfaction, budget adherence, delivery quality, and project timeline. Use established tools, methods, and standards by applying the ITS Project Process (IPP). Lead the overall project team or specific parts of it using modern leadership methods (coaching, motivation, team building, managing social complexity). Provide regular updates to AVL internal stakeholders via project status reports (PRISM) and, if requested, at the Executive level within the EPS (Executive Project Steering). Conduct Lessons Learned during project execution and share them with the project team and the wider ITS organization. Profile Secondary technical college/university of applied sciences/university of technology graduate with a focus on building facilities Engineering, Procurement & Construction, especially in an EPC context. Professional experience in managing and implementing technical projects, preferably in building facilities and infrastructure sector, ideally in the automotive industry or related fields. Good knowledge of automotive powertrains. Proven ability to manage technical and social topics of varying complexity. Leadership skills. Self-management and structured working approach.
