Supervise X-Ray Technologist Staff. /ppstrongResponsibilities /strong /pulliInterview, hire, and train all x-ray staff /liliGreet patients and explain procedures to patients in a compassionate manner /liliPosition patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures /liliPractice ALARA radiation protection techniques /liliMaintain a neat and clean working environment and ensure all supplies have been ordered and stocked /liliProcess images, review for proper identification and quality control and prepare images for reading by a physician as well as radiologist overreads /liliUtilize both digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with approved radiology techniques and all policies and procedures /liliAid physician with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocol as necessary. /liliPerform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed /liliWillingness to cross-train in other roles as appropriate including medical assisting and reception /liliOther duties and responsibilities as assigned /li /ulpstrongQualifications /strong /ppAssociate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
