Overview DevOps Engineer at Fliff Inc. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Social Sportsbook team. You will be responsible for optimizing and automating CI/CD pipelines, enhancing system observability, and supporting Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will work in parallel with existing infrastructure while helping build a new Kubernetes-based environment, collaborating closely with developers and technical operations teams. Responsibilities CI/CD & Deployment Automation: Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments to AWS ECS clusters. Infrastructure & Kubernetes Management: Create, administer, and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability; work in parallel with existing infrastructure to transition towards Kubernetes-based solutions. Observability & Monitoring: Enhance and unify the observability stack, improving system monitoring, logging, and alerting; work with DataDog or Loki, Grafana, Prometheus to provide deep visibility into system performance. Collaboration & Support: Act as a bridge between developers and operations teams; train and support engineers on DevOps practices, tooling, and automation; work within a globally distributed team and foster knowledge sharing. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3 years as a DevOps Engineer with hands-on automation and cloud infrastructure experience. Kubernetes & Containerization: 2 years with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform. CI/CD Expertise: Strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Observability & Monitoring: Proficiency with DataDog or Loki, Grafana, Prometheus for system monitoring and logging. Version Control & Scripting: Git familiarity and Python or Bash scripting. Problem-Solving & Communication: Ability to guide developers, solve infrastructure challenges, and improve system reliability. Mindset: Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Bonus Points For Experience with Ansible, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
