We are looking for an Operational Technologies IT Applications Engineer to work at ESRIN’s premises in Frascati, Italy. /p pThe ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) is the European Space Agency’s base in Frascati, Italy. From this location ESA conducts most of their earth observation research, including data analysis and distribution for other non-ESA satellites. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProviding expert advice on FM OT systems, including BMS, VSS, sensors, and automation. /li liSystem administration of corporate applications, including CIFM and ACS. /li liEvaluating automation tools and ensuring alignment with departmental evolution. /li liCoordinating with IT Department specialists. /li liActing as Process Owner for Archibus and Dormakaba EXOS, including participation in governance and change-management activities. /li liSupporting local users through technical assistance and escalations whilst also overseeing the implementation of the ESA REFM Cloud tenant. /li liEnabling data-driven use cases and interoperability with analytics platforms. /li liPreparing reports and representing REFM in corporate meetings. /li liCybersecurity best practices, threat awareness, and OT compliance support. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in a relevant discipline. /li liAt least 5 years of experience in relevant field. /li liWorking knowledge of Archibus and Dormakaba EXOS. /li liExposure to operational technologies such as BMS, VSS, sensors, and automation systems. /li liFamiliarity with cybersecurity principles. /li liAbility to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. /li liSolution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill. /li liFluent in English, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3Why should you apply? /h3 ul liYou will have the opportunity to work within leading space organisations across Europe. /li liWe encourage everyone to think outside the box and to push the boundaries of traditional knowledge.
