What this is about
Verifichi qui sotto se possiede i requisiti per questa occasione e, in tal caso, invii la sua candidatura il prima possibile.
Pillar is building the future of the construction and real estate industry. We're growing fast, and the founders need someone to help them stay above water on the day-to-day so they can focus on what actually matters.
We're looking for a Founder Associate Intern to work closely with the Founder's team. This role exists to multiply the founders' time, so if you love the idea of going behind the scenes of a startup and seeing how a company really runs, this is for you.
What you'll do
Manage the founders' time
Calendar management, scheduling, and meeting prioritization
Email triage and filtering where needed
Pre-meeting briefs (who you're meeting, why, what's needed)
Travel and event logistics
Support the hiring process
Coordinate candidate calls (scheduling, reminders, follow-ups)
First touchpoint with candidates on admin steps
ATS pipeline management and scorecard updates
Support during initial screening stages
Onboard new hires
Coordinate day one (setup, access, paperwork)
Be the go-to person for new joiners in their first weeks
Own and improve the onboarding checklist
Product team admin ops
Manage tools, subscriptions, and licenses
Internal documentation and knowledge base
Operational support on cross-team projects
Events and community
Represent Pillar at industry events when the founders can't
Scout relevant events (proptech, AEC, product, tech)
Organize internal events and meetups
Everything else
The mix of things that comes up in a startup: from quick competitor research to bridging teams, from coordinating a vendor to handling a last-minute logistics emergency
Who we're looking for
Early in your career (bachelor's or master's student, or recent graduate)
Obsessed with details. xlwpduy When you say "done," it's actually done
Clear and direct communicator, both written and spoken
Native Italian, fluent English (we work in both)
Bias toward action: you'd rather try and fix later than wait for instructions
Can say no when it's needed to protect the founders' time
Discretion: you'll see and hear confidential things, and they stay confidential
Who we're NOT looking for
Someone who just wants "startup experience" without getting their hands dirty
People who need a manual for every task
Anyone who gets offended if asked to book a restaurant or handle a vendor
What we offer
Paid 6-month internship, with a real path to a full-time offer
Office in Porta Vittoria, Milan (in-person, not remote)
Direct access to the founders and front-row visibility into how a company gets built
A real career path: people who've done this role well elsewhere have gone on to become Chiefs of Staff, PMs, or founders themselves
How to apply
Send us your CV and two lines (max) on why this role makes sense for you right now. No three-page cover letters, please.
