Job Description:

TD IT Architecture covers TD's overall technology strategy, direction, and standards for designing and/or developing an architecture framework including technology architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles, and standards.
About This Role: We are looking for a talented architect to join us in Payments. You will provide direction, guidance, and governance on structure, design, technology applications, and infrastructure.
Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:
* Work directly with various teams and solution architects to understand problems and business requirements.
* Guide architecture & engineering teams to define reusable patterns, leveraging modern architectural approaches.
* Experience designing Container-based solutions on Kubernetes.
* Help bring to life TD's Payments Platform strategy.
* Lead design and development of an architecture framework.
* Oversee and define development specifications and technical requirements.
* Research and analyze business requirements to recommend optimal architecture solutions.
* Participate as a top expert and consultant on high-risk and complex initiatives.
* Provide insight and recommendations for system architecture.
* Build consensus and facilitate collaboration within and across business units.
* Apply industry and technical knowledge to provide solutions.
Job Requirements:
* Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
* 10+ years relevant experience.
* Experience with patterns and implementation of Events, Microservices, cloud native and Rest API.
* Industry Domain experience in Faster Payments and Tokenized/Digital Wallet spaces.
* Working knowledge of SaFE Agile.
* Experience with Azure Cloud Services, DevOps, Kubernetes, and Automated testing.
* Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership.
* Ability to serve as a top technical individual expert.
