Primary Job Summary
The Senior IT User Support is responsible for ensuring reliable IT operations and end‑user support across Geoclima’s sites, in alignment with global company standards. The role covers advanced user support, IT infrastructure assistance, system and access administration, hardware/software lifecycle management, and coordination with internal and external IT stakeholders. It plays a key role in maintaining efficient, secure, and continuous IT services for all employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage IT for all employees in Geoclima’s sites, adopting and applying global company standards.
* Create, maintain, and manage user accounts, permissions, and system access rights.
* Procure, configure, and deploy IT equipment (PCs, laptops, mobile devices).
* Software and application installation and management.
* Support IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, and connected systems.
* Maintain office IT equipment such as printers, videoconferencing systems, and peripherals.
* Provide end‑user support, network troubleshooting.
* Vendor/contractor management.
* Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through backup procedures and IT security best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Proven experience in advanced troubleshooting of PCs, servers, applications, and networks.
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Self‑motivated and results‑oriented.
* Hands‑on experience with installation and configuration of IT systems.
Education Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field.
* Native or equivalent level in Italian language and professional English proficiency are mandatory.
